ErgoMate H20 Has Arrived

Ergos has been working on the development of an ErgoMate solution that would not only manage the discomfort linked to working on your feet all day but address the added issues associated with slips, trips and falls while walking and working on wet slippery surfaces. The goal was to meld the core philosophies of Ergos, Anti-Fatigue and Anti-Slip prevention into the best mobile attachable footwear solution for wet industrial environments. The result a new model called the ErgoMate H20.

The ErgoMate H20‘s incorporates a new unique slip resistant solid sole tread design and coupled that with an EVA foam core and an extra Gel Pack to the heal. This combination is an industry first of a kind and created the premire attachable mobile foot wear solution available. Ergos H20’s superior slip resistant characteristics are a significant improvement for Ergos and help prevent slips on slippery floor surfaces. Combine this sole with Ergos patented strapping system which we upgraded to a snap system on the main strap and adjustable heel mark specific changes. This combination of the new slip resistance sole added to Ergos anti-fatigue matting system is the ultimate ALL NEW ErgoMate.

The ErgoMate H20’s has a sealed upper and lower sole that was engineered to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) transfer an important consideration in many manufacturing climates. This sealed sole design also functions to help reduce potential cross contamination especially in food service applications. Autoclave approved to 140º F allows for easy of maintenance and cleanup of the H20.

Extensive field testing prior to the release of the H20 has proven the ErgoMate H20 as the preferred choice for individuals working in wet slippery environments. Those same individuals also benefited from the add anti-fatigue design which helped reduce the pain, discomfort and tiredness caused by standing, walking and working on your feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.

How To Properly Fit an ErgoMate

Fit issues of ErgoMates need addressing.

  • If your ErgoMate is sized too small or too large for your footwear, a proper fit will not be maintained. A poor fit may lead to shifting of your footwear inside the ErgoMate. This may create a clumsy feel, trip hazard or a compromised walking stride and the premature wear of your ErgoMate.
  • There should be no space between the ErgoMate and the wearer's footwear. The toe and sides should all be snug to existing footwear. The ErgoMate heel should be fitted snugly around the footwear heel as to lock over top of the lower sole.
  • The adjustable rear heel straps should not require overlapping at the center of the ErgoMate heel. If the rear straps are overlapped onto the heel back, this likely indicates the user should be in a smaller sized ErgoMate. If the heel straps are adjusted to the max of the Velcro, the wearer should be using a size larger. The heel strap adjustment to mid way point is the optimum fit.
